Every month we pick a participant is chosen as the rider of the month. The winners are chosen based on how well rider improves.

This months winner is:

TYLER PETERS

Tyler is 7 years old and came to the Healing Horses about a year ago by recommendation of his speech pathologist in order to gain self esteem, confidence and patience.  Tyler struggles with ADHD and lacked focus and patience.  Since beginning at Healing Horses his confidence has grown to where he is almost handling the horse by himself and he also has more patience and focus both with his schoolwork as well as at home with his siblings.  Tyler looks forward to his ride days.  He now has an understanding of animals – taking care of them and treating them properly.  Healing Horses has opened new perspectives for Tyler!

All Stars of the Month receive a portrait of themselves by Rancho Mirage based TACook, a California portrait painter with a family member in the program, a commerative certificate and a $5 gift card for McDonalds as well as being highlighted on the website for the entire month.
